Overview
These terms govern access to TRL AI websites, accounts, demonstrations, subscriptions, integrations and services operated by TRLAI.
Authority and account security
You must provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. Use unique and secure passwords, enable multi-factor authentication where available, avoid sharing individual accounts, assign access by job responsibility, remove access when users leave, review administrator access, report suspected compromise without delay and keep recovery information current.
Customers are responsible for activity performed through their accounts unless that activity directly resulted from a breach by TRL AI. We may require identity verification before restoring access, changing account ownership, exporting data or processing a sensitive request.
Lawful camera use
You may connect only cameras, sites, streams, recordings and recipient channels that you own, control or are legally authorised to operate.
You are responsible for:
- Providing legally required surveillance notices and signage.
- Obtaining necessary permissions and approvals.
- Informing employees, contractors, visitors and residents where required.
- Avoiding surveillance in locations where individuals reasonably expect privacy.
- Ensuring that audio recording is lawful before enabling it.
- Restricting camera and evidence access to authorised personnel.
- Selecting lawful and proportionate retention periods.
- Complying with applicable employment, privacy, surveillance and sector-specific laws.
- Maintaining accurate alert and escalation contacts.
- Responding to valid privacy or data requests.
- Conducting risk or privacy assessments where appropriate.
You represent and warrant that you possess all rights, permissions and lawful authority required to connect and process data from every camera and monitored site.
Restricted monitoring locations
TRL AI must not be used to monitor washrooms, changing rooms, private sleeping areas or other locations where individuals reasonably expect privacy, except where expressly permitted by applicable law. Customers must exercise additional care in schools, childcare facilities, hospitals, care homes, residential interiors and other sensitive environments.
AI and alert limitations
TRL AI is a decision-support and monitoring-assistance platform. It is not a replacement for trained security personnel, emergency services, physical security controls, alarm systems or independent professional judgement.
Contextual verification means the system evaluates detection evidence and available scene context before creating an actionable event. The result remains reviewable by authorised personnel. AI detection, contextual verification and alert delivery are not guaranteed to be complete, uninterrupted or error-free. The service may produce false-positive or false-negative detections, incorrect classifications, delayed, missed or duplicate alerts, unavailable feeds, incomplete evidence or degraded evidence.
Performance may be affected by lighting, angle, resolution, frame rate, obstruction, weather, glare, shadows, network quality, power or hardware failure, third-party failure, firmware changes and environmental conditions. An event label, confidence score or generated description is not a legal conclusion or verified statement of fact.
Customers must independently review relevant evidence before serious action. Alerts must not be the sole basis for arrest, employment termination, disciplinary action, denial of access, insurance decisions, legal proceedings or other decisions with serious consequences. TRL AI does not guarantee that an alert will prevent loss, intrusion, injury, theft, damage or any incident.
Camera compatibility
Compatibility depends on camera model, firmware, stream protocol, codec, resolution, frame rate, image quality, credentials, network configuration, site conditions and deployment architecture. A demonstration does not guarantee identical production performance. Customers must inform TRL AI of material camera or network changes.
Third-party services
TRL AI may use email for account and request notifications, Telegram and telephone for configured alert delivery, Google services for authentication and meeting scheduling, and cloud hosting infrastructure. These providers operate under their own terms, privacy practices, limits and availability. A delivery receipt does not prove that a person reviewed or acted on an alert.
Subscriptions, billing and taxes
Plan prices, limits, billing frequency, taxes, allowances, retention, alert channels and support levels are displayed at checkout or in the applicable Order Form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are billed in advance, applicable taxes are separate where legally required, subscriptions renew for the selected period, and cancellation before renewal stops future renewal without automatically refunding the current period.
Upgrades may take effect immediately; downgrades may take effect at the next renewal. Usage beyond included limits may require an upgrade or additional payment. Failed payments may result in restriction or suspension after reasonable notice. Hardware, installation, shipping, communication usage, phone escalation and custom integration charges are separate unless expressly included. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in an Order Form or the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Hardware and edge devices
An Order Form must state whether an approved device is sold, rented, licensed or loaned. Customers must provide stable power and suitable network access, protect equipment, maintain compatible cameras, permit approved security and software updates and return rented or loaned equipment when service ends. TRL AI may remotely update, diagnose or disable managed equipment where reasonably necessary for security, support, non-payment or termination.
Confidentiality and ownership
Each party must use the other's confidential information only for the agreed purpose, restrict access to persons who need it and apply reasonable safeguards. Customers retain ownership of camera feeds, uploaded content, event evidence, instructions and customer-created annotations. TRL AI retains ownership of its platform, software, interfaces, models, functionality, documentation, branding and service improvements, and receives only the rights needed to provide, secure, support and maintain the service.
Suspension, termination and disputes
TRL AI may restrict or suspend access to prevent harm, address unlawful or prohibited use, protect security, respond to non-payment, comply with law, investigate compromise or protect third-party infrastructure. Notice will be provided where reasonably possible except when urgent action is required.
On termination, access ends, outstanding fees remain payable, managed devices must be returned where required, and export and deletion follow the applicable plan and retention terms. Clauses intended to survive remain effective.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before formal proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written communication and discussion. Subject to applicable law and any signed Order Form, courts with competent jurisdiction in Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh, India will have jurisdiction.
